Lest you think I haven't been fully embracing soup season...

…here are two more soups I made this week:
Sohla El-Waylly’s Pumpkin Dal with Wilted Greens (I used what I had — sweet potatoes and spinach — and it was delicious);
Congee with roasted acorn squash and boiled eggs (so so good and I’m counting it, but is it technically a soup??);
and two more soups I ate that I didn’t make:
my dad’s vegetable soup (it’s ridiculously good);
white bean and escarole soup from a fancy grocery store;
and it’s only November 14 — soon I’m going to be all soup, just like I hoped.
