I've been a mom for a year, and...

…I have absolutely nothing wise to say, but it’s the most fun thing I’ve ever done — there is simply nothing in this world like baby hands with little knuckle dimples, tiny teeth peeking out of a drooly mouth, a being delighting in a piece of cardboard or a tissue or a blueberry because they are completely new to this world and every single thing is novel and HILARIOUS, and getting to give everything and yourself to this brand-new person who happens to be the cutest in the world — and yeah, it’s hard and stressful and so much, and I don’t want to be one of those moms who doesn’t acknowledge that, but as someone who wasn’t always sure this was what I wanted, it’s been worth it times infinity.
