I'm off to a writing retreat...

…with my writerly friends — we’re going to swim in a lake and workshop some pages and write some more pages and cook some dinners and roast some marshmallows — and I’m really proud of myself for doing this thing for myself, not just because I get to meet many of these wonderful women for the first time in person and it’s going to be a blast but also because it’s not the first thing I’m doing this year that’s new and interesting and just for me.
