Since 2023, I have set my Goodreads goal at 52 books...

…because in 2022, I hit my goal of 50, and for the past three years I haven’t even gotten close to reading 52 books (I’ve been a little busy moving into a house, having a child, and doing my own writing!!!), but I refuse to change it — my Goodreads goal will be 52 until I hit it, at which point, I will increase it to 53 — and that may be unhinged behavior, but I kind of like shooting the same shot over and over, no matter how badly I whiff it, because one day I’ll make it, and it will feel glorious.
